Fiber….a word that for most of us brings to mind the idea of crude roughage to help us be “regular”! Well, there is that component but fiber does so very much more. From slowing blood sugar absorption, protecting against diabetes, preventing colon disease, minimizing the potential for obesity, decreasing cholesterol and more….fiber is great stuff!
