Gratitude….a Truly HEALTHFUL Attitude

Many of have the expressions, “Youth is a state of mind” or “Health…it’s all in your mind”.  Even the bible says, “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.” in Proverbs 17:22.  Well, it’s not an urban legend or a wives’ tale as research demonstrates this to be true.  And no attitude is more helpful and healthful than gratitude. From lower blood pressure,  positive functional changes in the brain, diminished levels of depression, decreased biomarkers for inflammation in the body, fewer physician visits, better sleep, and more….gratitude pays larger benefits in our health!  I’m grateful we’ll be talking about it in today’s broadcast!
