The “Sunshine Vitamin” it’s sometimes called…and, true enough, we get the largest amount of Vitamin D when we’re in the sun.  But this Vitamin is actually a steroid based hormone affecting every cell in our bodies and regulating more than 10% of the genes in our cells!
