Kimberly was born in Strongsville Ohio, outside of the Cleveland area. She graduated from the Physician’s Assistant program at Gannon University, Erie Pennsylvania.
She started working after graduation as a Physician’s Assistant in a Family Practice satellite office in Saginaw, Michigan. She diagnosed and treated patients from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Becoming home sick, she came back to Ohio and continued to work in a Family Practice outpatient office for the next 20 years. She loved working in the same practice for that amount of time and her patients were like her family. She treated several generations of the same family.
After her employer retired, she was solicited to work for a multi-group practice. She changed her focus from Family Practice to Internal Medicine and spent the majority of her time as a hospitalist. This was very rewarding and challenging to manage acute and critical patients in a hospital setting. She also at this time started managing the geriatric population in Assisted Living facilities and Skilled Nursing facilities. She found this very enjoyable to treat this population with all its history and wisdom.
Prior to moving to Florida, she was employed by the Cleveland Clinic Foundation working in and outpatient in Internal Medicine. She felt it was a privilege to work for one of the most highly rated hospital organizations in the country.
Kimberly decided to move to Florida to enjoy much improved weather and continue her career. She is excited to use her expertise in rehabilitation aspect of medicine for the people of Hernando County.
She is a member of the National Commission on Certifications of Physician’s Assistants and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Her hobbies are kayaking, hiking, biking, and playing disc golf. Kimberly is also extremely passionate about college football.
Cynthia Sierra, MPT
Cindy was born and raised in Miami, FL. She graduated high school with honors, already knowing her desired career path and what she has come to know as her calling. Having studied diligently at Florida International University in Dade County, she graduated with her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2003 at the young age of 23. With extensive exposure and profound community needs, Cindy remained at that facility for 14 years. As her two daughters began to get older, she and her spouse made the decision to move away from the bustle of urban life. It was then decided to make the big move to the central Gulf coast, leaving the big city behind to give her girls a more peaceful life.
Cindy enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Eddie, and their two girls, Mila and Emily. They love taking part in outdoor activities such as swimming, boating, fishing and riding ATVs.
